4XTRA is primarily for the entry of Foreign Exchange and Money Market deals. It also provides positional information, reports and deal enquiry.

Deal entry. As well as spot and swap deals, deal types which can be entered include option deals, take ups and compensation deals, positional deals, Loans & Deposits, Futures, FRAls and SAFE deals. There is also deal reassignment and deal amendment |

Deal enquiry, reversal and cancellation. You can enquire about deals entered today or previously. Once you have found the details of a deal, you can reverse it |

Positional Information. This includes uptodate positional information such as Profit and Loss summaries and average rates, a list of the latest deals, and ladders and graphs showing a position against time. You can define your own displays so you see the exact combination of information you need. For example, you might define a display which shows the combined data for a selection of ladders |

Calculators. They include arbitrage, cross currencies, broken dates, etc. |

Editors for static information. These are used to maintain the lists of static and ancillary information such as dealer names, currency and customer codes |

Overnight processing. This prepares the ladders for the next day and produces reports on trading for the day |

Rates editors. These are for manual modification of the rates, if the rates feed is not supplying them |
